I realized that Offspring was running out of time to make Valentine’s Day cards for her classmates, so this morning I started searching online for free printable Valentine’s Day cards. There are so many awesome ones to choose from, but they are full color and we all know it’s cheaper to buy a new printer than buy ink cartridges. I tried to find one she could color in herself with the awesome gel pens we got at Costco, but couldn’t find any she loved.
The clock was ticking because we’re going to be in Palm Springs on Valentine’s Day and she needed to take the cards to school before we blast off!
So I made some.
I bought a cute black and white vector image of hearts from DepositPhotos and created a simple card. There are 4 cards on the 8.5 x 11 PDF. I printed them on white card stock, and we cut them out. Offspring had fun coloring them and handwriting all of her classmate’s names on them. Each one is different and she loved loved selecting color combinations.
Edited to add a suggestion by Serendipity Indigo – print it on pink or red paper!
