Boston Children’s Museum – education disguised as fun will entertain kids under 10 with hands-on exhibits like Construction Zone and Explore-a-Saurus.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston – a fun Lego attraction for 3-10 yr olds. The interactive experience includes rides, a 4D cinema, Master Model Builder workshops and MINILAND® featuring iconic Boston landmarks.
Harvard Museum of Natural History – kids will love the Gallery Explorations, education and entertaining programs designed for children and their parents to participate in as they explore the exhibits.
Castle Island Park & Fort Independence – Castle Island is a great place to walk along Boston Harbor. This 22 acre land-bound island is the site of an old armory.
Langham Hotel’s Chocolate Bar – All you can eat dessert buffet. Saturdays from Sept to June. Children under 5 are free. (The hotel has been closed for renovations, check with them.)
Boston Common – Freedom Trail – 2.5 miles long trail with 16 different historical venues to visit including museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, a ship, and historic markers of the American Revolution and beyond.
Public Garden Swan Boats – April through September, you can take a ride on Boston’s iconic swan boats across the Lagoon in the Public Garden, where they’ve been gliding since 1877.
Fenway Park – Home of the Boston Red Sox since 1912.
Minuteman Bikeway – this 11 mile path was built on a former railway.
Whale Watching – Get on board the New England Aquarium’s fast cat to the federally protected Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, home to humpbacks, finbacks, minkes, pilots, right whales, dolphins, seabirds and otters with naturalists on board to answer questions and share knowledge.
