Surf Lagoon – Enjoy the lazy river or playing in the surf. Surf Lagoon has it all for the water lover in you. The kiddie pool is available for the young ones and rafts and floats for all. A day in the summer would be more fun if you go to Surf Lagoon.
Savannah Children’s Museum – Savannah Children’s Museum offers daily programs. Outdoor activities such as arts & crafts, story time & water play offered for children of all ages.
Savannah’s Creepy Stroll – A guided tour of all the haunted places in Savannah.
Forsyth Park – A beautiful park the entire family will enjoy! There are playgrounds and a seasonal splash pad near the stage. You may get lucky and get to see a free concert. consider buying your lunch at the Forsyth Café and taking it outside for a picnic on the lawn!
McQueens Island Trail – Built on a stretch of the Savannah & Atlantic Railroad line, the 6-mile McQueen’s Island Trail provides an opportunity to enjoy the coast while getting a taste of historical Savannah.. Built in 1887, the railroad carried passengers from Savannah to Tybee Island, which was a popular beach resort at the turn-of-the-century. In 1923 a highway was built to the island making the railroad obsolete.
Tybee Island Marine Science Center – Discover the Georgia Coast. Learn about tides, seashells, dunes, marine animals and more. Kids will enjoy the touch tank, turtle exhibit, coral reef and gift shop. Take part in the guided beach walks, marsh treks, turtle talks.

Everything sounds amazing. I know my kids would surely enjoy it there too. Hopefully someday we’ll get to go there.
We went to Savannah a couple of years ago and had fun. We made a day trip to Tybee Island too.
We love anything science so the science center would go down well with us, and the trolley bus looks like fun too!
I’d love to go visit the Tybee Island Marine Center! I lived in Savannah when I was in first grade. We loved going to the Pirate House for dinner and enjoyed visiting the Juliette Lowe house.
I’ve never been to Savannah, or Georgia for that matter. These all sound like wonderful things to do with kids!
My kids would love the science center! Never been to Savannah but love that part of the country in general.
