Considered one of America’s best family vacation spots, you won’t run out of fun things to do in Myrtle Beach with kids.
Obviously, the beaches – Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach State Park and North Myrtle Beach are all fabulous!
Broadway at the Beach has so many fun things to do – mini golf course, aquarium, cinema, wax museum and kiddie rides. Best of all, WonderWorks, a museum for the mind, with over 100 hands-on exhibits, laser-tag area, ropes course and zip-lines. Ripley’s Aquarium is here too. Myrtle Waves water park will keep your kids entertained for hours.
Attend a Dinner Show – Carolina Opry live country music, comedy & dance, plus a Christmas special every year. Legends in Concert offering celebrity tribute artists, Medieval Times, or Pirates Voyage, Blackbeard-themed pirate performances with stunts plus a 4-course dinner. Pirates used to be The Dixie Stampede and my niece was one of the performers..
Broadway Grand Prix Family Race Park – seven go-kart tracks, the SkyCoaster, two 18-hole mini golf courses, a carousel, batting cages, an arcade and so much more.
Brookgreen Gardens – a 9100 acre sculpture garden and wildlife preserve, located just south of Murrells Inlet. You’ll see otters, Spanish goats, bald eagles, Marsh Tacky horses and several other native animal species on the grounds.
Mini Golf – over 100 mini golf courses along the main highway.
Myrtle Beach SkyWheel – a 187-foot tall Ferris wheel on the oceanfront boardwalk, open year-round and putting on a light show every night with a million strategically placed lights.
