Choosing a family vacation destination can be challenging. We all have our own ideas of what’s fun, and it sometimes seems impossible to satisfy everyone. What if I told you there is a place that has something for everyone? Sounds too good to be true, but have a look at Explore Tucson’s site and you’ll be happily surprised.
The Group of Seven
We are a family of 7 these days, and our Group of Seven trips need to appeal to an age range of 7 to 68, a variety of activity levels and comfort thresholds.
When I travel I want adventure, after all I’m a reformed adrenaline junkie. I’m also a single parent to a 7 year old daughter, so it needs to be the appropriate level of adventure for her to enjoy safely. Last year we pushed the limits of her bravery by kayaking with a whale shark in Mexico.
Tucson is a perfect destination for our family because of the diverse activities and attractions available.
Free Yourself to Explore Tucson
Tucson is more than just another city, it’s a place that inspires a sense of freedom to visitors. Freedom of thought & expression. Freedom to discover & explore. The freedom to be yourself. The freedom vibe is why Tucson is a favorite destination for travelers seeking delicious food and outdoor activity.
Foodies Flock to Tucson
I love Mexican food, and I lived full-time in Mexico for 6 years where they simply call it food. ? I think this qualifies me to review Mexican restaurants. Just the idea that Tucson boasts The Best 23 Miles of Mexican Food makes my mouth water. In this day and age, it is refreshing and heart warming to find a place that celebrates its borderlands culture and Mexican influence.
Maybe you’re one of those odd people who don’t like cilantro, yeah that’s a thing. You’ll be taken care of too in this foodie haven.
Maybe you haven’t heard, but Tucson is the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the U.S. Tucson is renowned for having an innovative, creative, and unique food scene. They take farm to table to a new level with their heritage crops and traditional techniques inviting you to enjoy unique flavors specific to Tucson and the Sonoran desert.
Outdoor Enthusiasts
Whether you’re looking for adrenaline sports like rock climbing, spelunking, and off-road bike riding, or something more relaxing like shopping, lounging by the pool, birdwatching, or a round of golf, Tucson has it all.
Your Kids Will Love To Explore Tucson
Tucson is a family friendly destination with plenty of activities and attractions to keep kids entertained. I know our crowd will enjoy hiking, zip-lining and exploring the Colossal Cave, but they’ll also get a kick out of Funtastics Family Fun Park, and The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures.
Really the only problem I can see with planning a trip to explore Tucson is having enough time to see it all.
